The Fertile-Beltrami Falcons advanced to the Section 8A semifinals with a 3-1 (25-16, 23-25, 25-12 & 25-17) win over the Blackduck Drakes in Fertile. Reese Bruggeman had 10 kills and Tessa Opdahl and Mya Erickson each had 8 kills for Fertile-Beltrami as the Falcons improve to 23-6 overall. Madison Stueness added 6 kills and 16 service points for Fertile-Beltrami. The Falcons recorded 13 service aces compared to just 3 aces at the line for Blackduck. Bella Bloom had 12 kills and Kia Dodd 8 kills for Blackduck as the Drakes end their season at 19-6. Senor Aunika Sundvall recorded her 1,000th career dig in the first set of the match for Blackduck. The Drakes won the second set 25-23 despite falling behind 8-0 to start the set.
