Fort Frances Muskies Hockey Preseason 2025

The Fort Frances Muskies hockey season is here — and both the Boys and Girls teams are ready to hit the ice with big goals ahead.

The Muskie Boys, led by Head Coach Chris Sinclair, recently opened their season at the Husky Classic in Winnipeg. Despite limited practice time, Sinclair says the young group impressed early.

Goalie Keaton Cooper says he’s aiming for a higher save percentage, while the team looks to make it three straight Norwasa titles — with the Border Battle against International Falls already circled on the schedule.

Meanwhile, the defending Norwasa champion Muskie Girls are fresh off a gold medal at the same Winnipeg tournament.

Coach Jordan Larson says the team’s new faces have brought speed and depth — and they’re eager to defend their crown at this weekend’s home tournament.
