Crossing Highway 59 At Mahnomen

MAHNOMEN, MN—Crossing US Highway 59 as a pedestrian isn’t easy because of the amount of traffic and the semis that use the highway.  Mahnomen City Administrator Taylor Guenther told the Mahnomen City Council at Monday’s meeting that the Minnesota Department of Transportation will put in a pedestrian crossing across 59 at East Adams.

Guenther says the crossing is a crosswalk, rather than an overhead one.
