Erik Osberg campaigning across Minnesota’s 7th District, hopes to secure DFL endorsement 

Minnesota 7th District congressional candidate Erik Osberg has been campaigning across Northwest Minnesota as he seeks the Democratic–Farmer–Labor (DFL) nomination for the 2026 election. Earlier this week during a stop in Warroad Osberg spoke about his campaign strategy, and how he’s attempting to build support where past DFL candidates have struggled. 

Osberg also highlights some of the primary tenants of his campaign platform. 

Osberg hopes to secure the DFL Party’s endorsement during the February 3, 2026 caucus. If endorsed, he would face incumbent Republican Michelle Fischbach who has represented the 7th District since 2021.
