North Dakota State B Volleyball Tournament Day Two Recap

Medina-Pingree/Buchanan 3-0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-19) over Our Redeemer’s

Medina-Pingree/Buchanan is heading to their first state volleyball championship in program history following a sweep over Our Redeemer’s on Friday morning from the Bismarck Events Center.

Destiny Opp finished with 17 kills and Brynn Sorenson add 15 kills and 26 digs for MPB. The Thunder will play Langdon Area-Munich in the championship at 3 p.m. on Saturday.

Brooklyn Roedocker finished with 13 kills to lead Our Redeemer’s. The Knights matchup with Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier on Saturday at 8 a.m. for the third place. You can listen to both games on yourliveevent.com for audio only coverage.

Langdon Area-Munich 3-2 (26-24, 16-25, 25-11, 21-25, 15-3) over Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier

Langdon Area-Munich is heading to a state championship for the 10th in program history following their second five-setter at the state volleyball tournament in Bismarck.

The Cardinals are in search of back-to-back titles and their sixth overall on Saturday at 3 p.m. when they play Medina-Pingree/Buchanan. Hilary Haaven finished with 21 kills in match and Taya Feist added 9 kills and 11 blocks.

Besty Huber paced EKM with 15 kills and 8 blocks, while Elli Lloyd added 14 kills. The Rebels play Our Redeemer’s for 3rd place on Saturday at 8 a.m. You can listen to both matches on yourliveevent.com.

Linton-HMB 3-1 (25-22, 26-24, 23-25, 25-21) over Surrey

Bobbie Janczewski tailed 15 kills and Madisyn Sauter added 51 assists for Linton-HMB in their consolation semifinal round win on Saturday night.

The Lions will play in the consolation championship on Saturday.

Mekenzie Neighbors finished with 18 kills as Surrey heads to the 7th place match.

Flasher 3-0 (25-15, 25-23, 27-25) over Central McLean

Morgan Synder finished with 21 kills and Sally Heger added 42 assists and 8 kills for Flasher. The Bulldogs play Linton-HMB in the consolation championship on Saturday.
