CASSELTON, ND – Central Cass dominated from the opening tip in their 65-46 win over Kindred in Region 1A boys basketball on Tuesday night.

Central Cass held Kindred to a season low in scoring on the season and beat the Vikings for the first time since March 9, 2023.

Andrew Ziemer finished with 15 points and Kash Lorenz added 12 points and 4 rebounds for Central Cass. The Squirrels (8-2 overall, 4-0 Region 1A) head to Devils Lake this weekend with games against Rugby and Turtle Mountain.

Brooks Bakko paced Kindred with 19 points and 14 rebounds. The Vikings (8-1 overall, 3-1 Region 1A) head to Devils Lake with a game against the Firebirds on Friday and play Four Winds-Minnewaukan on Saturday.
