CASSELTON, ND – Central Cass outscored Kindred 28-9 in the first quarter in their Region 1A win on Tuesday night in girls basketball.

Central Cass defeated Kindred 70-56 behind a one-two combination with Kenley Haug and Liv Siverson. Haug socred 26 points with 4 three-pointers and Siverson added 23 points and 6 rebounds.

Liza Trenbeath had a game-high with 27 points for Kindred.

The Squirrels (7-6 overall, 3-4 Region 1A) return to the court on Monday against Oak Grove. Kindred (10-3 overall, 4-2 Region 1A) hosts Valley City on Thursday. You can watch both games on yourliveevent.com.
