it was the season opener for both teams—  both coaches were pleased with aspects of the game and certainly both knowing improvements will come as Tyler Loeb scored a career high 25 points to help Park Christian overcome Anders Tinjum’s game high 27 for Ada-Borup-West and win the season opener, 71-64.   Ada-Borup-West started fast, leading  9-0 when the Falcons flew back to tie at 9-9, 13-13 before leading 40-28 at halftime.   The Falcons led 51-34 in the second half with 14:33 to play when the Cougars responded with a 10-0 spurt iin the next four minutes.  Six minutes later, Park Christian’s lead was only three, 61-58, with the Cougars having opportunities from the free throw line and additional possessions with forced Falcon turnovers but couldn’t convert into points before Park Christian made their free throws and a 3-point field goal to close the game out.
