Ada City Council approves 4% tax levy increase 

The Ada City Council had further discussions on the city’s public works building project during their meeting on Tuesday night. Ada Mayor John Hintz tells us what the voted on, as well as what’s coming up next in the project. 

Also on Tuesday night’s agenda was the approval of a tax levy increase for the upcoming year, and Mayor Hintz says the council approved a slight increase. 

The Ada 150th Anniversary celebration is coming up next summer, and Hintz is excited to announce that they approved a plan to build a time capsule. 

Other items from Tuesday’s meeting included committee updates, and the approval of pay raises to the staff at the Dekko Community Center.
