Joe Courneya scored 32 points as the Win-E-Mac Patriots defeated the Fosston Greyhounds 68-55 in the semifinals of the 23rd annual Fosston Holiday Tournament. The Greyhounds took a 48-47 lead with 10:47 remaining but Win-E-Mac went on a 16-0 run to put the game away. Kolten Schow added 12 points for Win-E-Mac as the Patriots start their season at 1-0 overall and 1-0 in the Pine to Prairie Conference. Jake Howard and Jack Sekley each scored 15 points for Fosston as the Greyhounds fall to 0-2 overall and 0-2 in the conference. Win-E-Mac will play Clearbrook-Gonvick in the championship game on Friday (7:45 pm on 96.7 FM) with Fosston playing Blackduck in the 3rd place game (6:00 pm on 96.7 FM).
