Fertile City Council votes to establish Public Relations Committee 

The Fertile City Council approved a task order regarding a public works project at their meeting on Monday night. Fertile Mayor Brian Nephew tells us more about the projects being done, as well as what the council approved. 

Nephew says there was also a discussion regarding the Agassiz Learning Center building, which is in need of some major repairs. 

Cannabis was also a topic of discussion on Monday night, and Nephew says the council tabled discussions, so that they can be discussed in future meetings. 

The Fertile City Council also took action on whether they would establish a new public relations committee, and Nephew says the council decided to move forward in establishing the committee after a lengthy discussion. 

Other items from Monday’s meeting included committee updates, yearly housekeeping items, and a discussion about a fire siren replacement.
