Erskine, MN — The Ada-Borup-West Cougars Girls Basketball Team defeated the Win E Mac Patriots 74-44 on Tuesday night.

The Cougars built an early 24-8 lead in the first half of Tuesday’s game and it looked like they had a chance to run a way with it before halftime. But Win E Mac would scratch their way back to within striking distance to close the gap to 10 points, 33-23 at halftime.

Ada-Borup-West turned up the heat in the second half on defense forcing Win E Mac into turnovers which allowed the Cougars to open up a 51-25 lead. From there, Add-Borup-West would cruise to the final buzzer winning 74-44.

The Cougars are now 4-3 on the season and will host Climax/Fisher on Thursday. Win E Mac has now dropped their third game in a row falling to 3-7 and will be at Lake Park-Audubon on Thursday.
