Mahnomen Mayor Uran Signs Letter Sharing Concerns Over Minnesota’s Finances

MAHNOMEN, MN—Last week, almost 100 Minnesota mayors signed a letter to State lawmakers and Governor Tim Walz expressing “deep concern and growing frustration about the fiscal direction of the state and its increasing impact on our cities.”  Mahnomen Mayor Curt Uran was one of the mayors who signed the letter.

Uran emphasizes his desire to look out for Mahnomen.

It’s been alleged that billions of dollars of state and federal money have been lost due to fraud. Dozens of people have either pleaded guilty or found guilty of fraud in the Feeding Our Future scandal.  Aimee Bock, the founder of Feeding Our Future, has been ordered to pay over five million dollars in restitution.
