The Warren-Alvarado-Oslo Ponies jumped out to a 7-0 lead and never trailed as they defeated the Fosston Greyhounds 75-42 in Fosston. The Ponies used a 19-0 run to put the game away as Fosston didn’t score their first points in the second half until six minutes had expired. Kyden Kotrba led the Ponies with 23 points as they improve to 6-7 overall. The Ponies came into the game having lost four of their last five games. Sebastian Johnson added 19 points for Warren-Alvarado-Oslo with Sidney Carlson scoring 12 points off the bench. Jack Sekely led Fosston with 14 points as they fall to 1-8 overall. Jake Howard added 13 points and Gavin Curfman 8 points for Fosston. The Greyhounds turned the ball over 30 times compared to 17 turnovers for W-A-O. There was a combined total of seven fouls in the game and no player had more than one foul. There were only four free throws attempted in the game with each team shooting two. Warren-Alvarado-Oslo won the “B” Squad game 49-31.
