Keyed by their defensive pressure the Lake Park-Audubon Raiders extended their lead after halftime as they pulled away for the 62-40 victory over the Ada-Borup-West Cougars. After the Raiders opened the game on a 7-0 run the Cougars were able to string together offensive scores and defensive stops to take a 13-9 lead midway through the first half. After the teams traded baskets the Raider defense foreced turnovers to generate offensive looks and went into halftime with a 30-25 lead. After the break the Raiders continued to force turnovers, while keeping control of the ball on their offensive end, to extend out the lead on their way to the victory.
