Gage Hendrickson scored 16 points and pulled down 14 rebounds as the Falcons defeated the Greyhounds 76-37 at Fosston. The Falcons never trailed in the game and led 50-21 at halftime. Bryer Strem also scored 16 points for Fertile-Beltrami as they won their seventh straight game and improve to 9-1 overall and 4-0 in the Pine to Prairie Conference. Drew Gullickson pitched in with 14 points and Connor Haaven and Caleb Sather each scored 8 points for Fertile-Beltrami. Jake Howard led Fosston with 22 points and hit five 3 pointers as the Greyhounds suffered their fourth straight loss and fall to 1-9 overall and 1-7 in the conference. Jack Sekely hit three 3 pointers and scored 9 points for Fosston. It was the second win for Fertile-Beltrami over Fosston with the Falcons winning 66-30 at Fertile back on December 11th. Fertile-Beltrami outrebounded Fosston 42-18. Fertile-Beltrami won the “B” Squad game 37-23. The Falcons return to action on Friday, January 16th when they host the Ada-Borup-West Cougars (106.5 FM). The Greyhounds are off until Tuesday, January 20th when they travel to Bagley to face the Flyers (96.7 FM).
