Norman County Fair Board’s Mike Sorenson Honored

BLOOMINGTON, MN—A member of the Norman County Fair Board came home with an award after Friday night’s Minnesota Federation of County Fairs meeting in Bloomington.  Mike Sorenson was named District 9 Fair Person of the Year.  Sorenson tells R&J Broadcasting’s Jim Birkemeyer he wasn’t expecting anything special.

But apparently Sorenson was the only one taken by surprise.

Sorenson says what he enjoys most about his work with the Norman County Fair is seeing people having a good time.
