GBB Fosston 31 at Climax/Fisher 62

A quick start to each half, strong rebounding and stingy defense helped Climax/Fisher win its eighth consecutive game Thursday, beating Fosston 62-31 in Climax.

The Knights (14-8, 11-4 in Region) started the game with a 9-0 run.  Then with Fosston getting to within 6 at halftime (25-19), Climax-Fisher scored the first 12 points of the second half to put the game out of reach.

Sophomore Peyton Hoffman had 25 points and 21 rebounds to lead Climax-Fisher, with Lucy Paulsrud adding 17 and Brooklyn Hoffman 10.  The Knights also made 9 3-point baskets.

Fosston (10-9, 8-6) was led offensively by Senior Miley Hove with 6 points.

Climax/Fisher hosts Mahnomen/Waubun Friday night in Fisher.  Fosston is off until Monday when the Greyhounds host Fertile-Beltrami.
