Hillsboro pool committee to hold public interest meeting Feb. 10
A committee of citizens in Hillsboro, dedicated to bringing a new public swimming pool to the town are hosting a public interest meeting to gain feedback on their initial plans. The meeting will be in the Hillsboro Community Center on February 10th at 6:30pm. Paul Geray is a part of the committee and invites people to come voice their opinions and ask any questions they may have related to the planning.
Some people on the committee introduced the idea of bringing in a consultant for the project to help plan the fundraising and also go around town to gauge community interest. Geray says funding is a large question right now, but also confirming a location.
If the committee and public find an agreement on those two questions, additional help may become available for the project.
Geray says all opinions are welcome and hopes to see a good turnout for the Tuesday night meeting.
