Climax-Fisher jumped to a 12-0 lead and went on to defeat Mahnomen-Waubun 59-38 Friday night in Fisher.

Peyton Hoffman led the Knights (15-8, 12-4 in Section 8) with 29 points, with Lucy Paulsrud adding 13.  Climax-Fisher out-rebounded the Thunderbirds 41-26 on their way to a ninth consecutive victory.

Kenley Syverson and Peyton McArthur Gordon led the Thunderbirds (8-14, 4-7) with 8 points apiece.

Climax-Fisher hosts Fertile-Beltrami Tuesday night in Fisher.  Mahnomen-Waubun plays at Ada-Borup-West on Monday.
