Ada-Borup-West at Hillsboro/Central Valley

The Hillsboro/Central Valley Burros capped off a three game week by defeating the Ada-Borup-West Cougars 65-58 for the Burros’ third win of the week. For the first three quarters neither team would build a large lead with the score always being within four points as the teams battled back and forth. In the fourth quarter the Cougars looked to build on momentum as they again extended out a four-point lead before a three-pointer by the Burros cut the lead to a single point and swung momentum their way. Minutes later the Burros would take a 58-56 lead on another timely three point shot. The remainder of the scoring would come from the free throw line with the Burros making eight free throws in the fourth quarter to stay ahead and eventually extend their lead out to the final 65-58 margin of victory.

Hillsboro/Central Valley is now 9-8 overall and will be off until next Friday when they host Harvey/Wells County. Ada-Borup-West drops their overall record to 12-10 and begins a three game week on Tuesday night as they host Thompson.
