Girls PTP Championship Park Christian vs Fertile-Beltrami

Park Christian got off to a hot start in the Pine to Prairie Conference as they got up quickly 11-0. It forced Fertile-Beltrami to take a timeout and fresh off the quick break, Indigo Oistad got a layup which started a 6-0 run all by herself. Fertile-Beltrami would bring it within 1 at 13-12. It went back and forth until a 15-6 run got it back to a double digit lead for Park Christian at 28-18. Fertile-Beltrami would get within 6 after a converted and-1 by Macy Petry, but then a last second 3 pointer from Taelyn Card gave Park Christian a 9 point lead at the break, 37-28.

Park Christian started hot again in the second half with a 7-2 run to get up to a 14 point lead and wouldn’t let that lead get lower than 12 for the rest of the game. Park Christian had 4 players score between 6-9 points in the second half for a balanced scoring attack. Their lead would get as high as 18 points but would win by 16 as Park Christian becomes the Pine to Prairie Conference Champions.

Park Christian will be back in action on Tuesday as they travel to New York Mills. Fertile-Beltrami will play their season finale at home on Tuesday against Red Lake County Central.
