2 Injured In Crookston 2-Vehicle Crash
CROOKSTON, MN—Two people sustained non-life-threatening injuries in a two vehicle crash Sunday morning at the intersection of US Highway 2 and South Road near the University of Minnesota-Crookston campus. The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash happened at 10:30am when a 1996 Chevrolet Caprice going north on Highway 2 collided with a 2006 Ford Focus going west on South Road. The State Patrol says 62-year-old Leonard Woinarowicz of Euclid was driving the Caprice with 82-year-old Adeline Woinarowicz of Euclid as a passenger. He wasn’t injured; she had non-life-threatening injuries, but wasn’t taken to a hospital. The driver of the Focus, 18-year-old Nickolaus Bachmeier of Crookston, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Crookston Hospital. The State Patrol says road conditions were wet at the time of the crash.
