FARGO, ND – Kindred topped Wahpeton 69-53 in the Region 1A girls basketball semifinals on Tuesday night.

Liza Trenbeath poured in 38 points and teammate Siera Nipstad added 24 points and 12 rebounds in the win for Kindred. The Vikings matchup with Central Cass in the championship on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

Claire Woods finished with 26 points and 8 rebounds in the loss for Wahpeton. The Huskies matchup with Valley City for third place on Thursday at 6 p.m. from the Scheels Center in Fargo. You can watch both games on yourliveevent.com.
