Mayville Man Faces Child Sex Charges

HILLSBORO, ND—A man from Mayville is facing felony charges after investigators say they found child sexual abuse material linked to his cloud storage account.  43-year-old Antonio Morales Garcia was charged Tuesday in Traill County with possession of certain materials prohibited and promoting a sexual performance by a minor—both Class B felonies.  Court documents say an account linked to Garcia’s phone number included several videos of a girl who appears to be between 12 and 15 years old.  Garcia allegedly confessed to possessing and distributing video files…some of which had children aged 12 or younger.  Garcia is in custody in the Grand Forks County Jail; his next court date is scheduled for March 18.
