GBB Sacred Heart 56, Stephen-Argyle 23

Sacred Heart forced 26 turnovers on their way to a 56-23 victory over Stephen-Argyle Thursday night in the Section 8A girls basketball playoffs at the University of Minnesota-Crookston.

Junior Lexi Lawrence led a balanced Sacred Heart (23-4) scoring attack with 11 points with Leah Sundby adding 10 as the Eagles won their 14th consecutive game.

Annika Adolphson scored 9 points to lead Stephen-Argyle (8-18).

Sacred Heart will face Mahnomen-Waubun Saturday in the 8A quarterfinals in Thief River Falls.
