Hillsboro City Commission approves acquisition of land for electrical sub station 

The Hillsboro City Commission had discussions about a land acquisition at their meeting on Monday night. Hillsboro City Auditor Casey Eggermont tells us more about these discussions, and the action taken up by the commission later in the meeting. 

Eggermont says the commission also had discussions about a floodplain ordinance, and a rezoning request. 

Eggermont also reminds residents about an upcoming public hearing that will take place before their next commission meeting on March 16. 

Again, that comment session will be held on Monday, March 16 starting at 5:00 at the Main Street Community Center.
