Halstad City Council Meeting
HALSTAD, MN—The Halstad City Council met Monday night and the focus was on getting money for city projects. Halstad Mayor Darin Johnson says the Council accepted grants for the City’s Fire Department.
Johnson says the Council is also looking for financial help for a City water project.
The Halstad City Council also approved asking Norman County for help on getting FEMA grants for renovations at the Landmark Center. The City wants to turn the old Norman County West school gym into a severe weather shelter. Johnson says the City also voted to move forward on a blighted property complaint.
