Polk County Sheriff’s Office Welcomes K9 Bo
CROOKSTON, MN—The Polk County Sheriff’s Office has a new member. K9 Bo joined the department through a donation by Mark “Mac” McDonough. K9 Bo is a 14-month-old German Shepherd from Germany. Deputy Titan Engen will be K9 Bo’s handler. The two are going through training at the McDonough K9 school. K9 Bo will be trained in handler protection, building searches, evidence searches, tracking for suspects and or lost persons, suspect apprehension, and narcotics detection. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is accepting donations for training and equipment.
