Hawley Scholarship Phone-A-Thon

HAWLEY, MN—If you live in the Hawley area, don’t be surprised if you get a phone call this weekend from the Hawley Scholarship Foundation.  The Foundation is holding its 31st Phone-A-Thon this weekend.  Nick Birchem, the chair of the Phone-A-Thon Committee tells us about the Phone-A-Thon.

Birchem says 50 student volunteers will be making calls Saturday, Sunday and Monday.  He tells us when they’ll be calling.

Last year, the Hawley Scholarship Foundation awarded 132 scholarships totaling $117,550 to 49 Hawley graduates.
