2026 Spring Forecast with NDAWN’s Daryl Ritchison

Spring is right around the corner, which means that flood season is almost among us, and the question that’s asked each year is how much flooding can we expect? NDAWN Director & Climatologist Daryl Ritchison expects it to be a minor year for flooding, unless things change. 

As for what the rest of spring will look like, Ritchison says it will be a back and forth of warm and cold temperatures.
