Broncos Wrestlers Preparing for NYWA Regions

It was a strong weekend for the Bronco Wrestling Club.
At the NYWA District Tournament in Deer River, the Broncos crowned three champions: Aaron Freeberg, Clayton Rasmussen, and Emerson Mannausau. Nine total wrestlers advanced to regionals in Bemidji later this month.

The momentum carried over to Nashwauk, where the Broncos posted six first-place finishes at a Jaycees State Qualifier. Coaches say the team is peaking at the right time heading into postseason competition. Confidence is high heading into the next round.

With momentum building, the Broncos now turn their focus to regionals—and a shot at state.
