Ada-Borup-West vs Mahnomen-Waubun

Waubun, MN — The Ada-Borup-West Cougars defeated the Mahnomen/Waubun Thunderbirds 11-3 on Thursday afternoon notching their 13th win of the season.

The Cougars were active on the base paths stealing thirteen bases putting pressure on the Thunderbirds defense to make plays. Because of their aggressiveness the Cougars had ample opportunities to drive in runs and they did so scoring at least one run in every inning of the game leading to the 11-3 victory.

With the win, Ada-Borup-West is now 13-3 and will play a split doubleheader on Monday in Ada vs. West Marshall and Red Lake County. For Mahnomen/Waubun the Thunderbirds are now 8-9 on the season and will play at Hawley on Monday.
