Plenty to see at Big Bog State Recreation Area 

Did you know that Minnesota is home to the largest peat bog in the lower 48 states, which also includes a mile long boardwalk? State Park Naturalist Christa Drake tells us more about this hidden Minnesota gem called Big Bog State Recreation Area. 

Like many area state parks, Drake says Big Bog State Recreation Area also hosts events and programs, and she tells us more about one that she’s holding on the 18th.
