Fosston Knowledge Bowl to defend state championship 

After winning the State Championship last year, the Fosston Knowledge Bowl Team will be looking to defend theirs later this week at the Minnesota Knowledge Bowl Championship at Cragun’s near Brainerd. Team member Micah Malmanger says they are excited to be back at state, and for a chance to end their knowledge bowl careers with a bang. 

While excited Malmanger and fellow teammate Caleb Richardson says there is a lot more pressure heading into this year’s competition than last year. 

Knowledge Bowl coaches Ron Berntson and Holly O’Shea say they saw the potential in this group when they were first coming up through the program, and their success has helped build up the program in the younger groups.
