Who is District Court Judge Annie P Claesson-Huseby?

During the Norman County Court Administration Office’s Juror Appreciation Day, R&J News had the opportunity to interview the Honorable Annie P Claesson-Huseby, who presides over the court in Norman County. Claesson-Huseby tells us more about herself, and what it’s been like serving in Norman County. 

When she’s not in court, Claesson-Huseby says she can often be found watching basketball. 

Claesson-Huseby explains why she pursued a career practicing law, and later became a judge. 

Minnesota’s Ninth Judicial District consists of the seventeen counties across Northwest Minnesota, including Aitkin, Beltrami, Cass, Clearwater, Crow Wing, Hubbard, Itasca, Kittson, Koochiching, Lake of the Woods, Mahnomen, Marshall, Norman, Pennington, Polk, Red Lake, and Roseau.
