Itasca State Park celebrating Free Parks Day this weekend 

Saturday is Free Parks Day, which means that the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is waiving all vehicle permit fees at all 73 Minnesota state parks and recreation areas. In conjunction with Free Parks Day, many parks are also holding a number of events and activities to celebrate, including Itasca State Park. Park Naturalist Sandra Lichter tells us more. 

Lichter says that’s not all they have planned for Free Parks Day.
