Mahnomen Hospital Lobbying Update

Here’s an update to a story R&J News has been following.  Mahnomen City, County and Hospital officials were at the State Capitol earlier this week to garner support for Mahnomen Hospital improvements to be included in the Legislature’s bonding bill.  Mahnomen City Administrator Taylor Guenther says it was a productive visit.

Guenther says she and the group came prepared for their visits with state lawmakers.

Guenther goes on to say that she and her fellow lobbyists are feeling positive about the Mahnomen Hospital getting state funding.

The Mahnomen Hospital renovation project has been passed over for inclusion int he bonding bill by the Legislature a couple of times in recent years.  The Minnesota Legislative session ends in mid-May.
