Minnesota Beans

Minnesota’s Agriculture Commissioner was in Dilworth last Thursday for a Battle of the Beans cook-off.  Commissioner Thom Peterson says Minnesota is a big bean producer.

Noreen Thomas of the Doubting Thomas Farm in Moorhead says there are quite a few growers of edible beans in the Red River Valley…and you might have eaten some of their beans.

The Northarvest Bean Growers Association sponsored Thursday night’s Battle of the Beans in Dilworth.
