With agriculture policy and finance bill stalled, Paraquat ban a Non-Starter for GOP
The Minnesota agriculture policy and finance bill is currently stalled in the Minnesota House of Representatives, and House Republicans are putting their foot in the ground in the opposition of a Paraquat that’s being pushed by Democrats in the house. Minnesota House Agriculture Committee Co-Chair Paul Anderson says the GOP sees the ban as a non-starter.
Anderson says the Senate has an ag bill that doesn’t include the ban, but they worry that it could still leave the door open to “shenanigans”.
