Hillsboro City Commission Meets 

The Hillsboro City Commission met in regular session on Monday evening. Hillsboro City Auditor Casey Eggermont says one of the first things done at the meeting were reports from city officers, who discussed a number of items including an electrical project. 

Under new business, Eggermont says the city also awarded a $5,000 Facade Grant. 

The Hillsboro City Commission also had a lengthy discussion regarding a new bid for the moving of a building, which Eggermont gives us a rundown of. 

Other items from Monday’s meeting included the approval of Hillsboro Days requests, the approval of a special event permit, and a discussion about a fencing project with the Hillsboro Campgrounds.
