The Thief River Falls Prowlers used a five run fourth inning to help lead them to a 9-5 win over the East Polk North Stars (Fosston/Win-E-Mac) at the Fosston Softball Complex. The Prowlers sent ten batters to the plate in their fourth inning uprising with Braylee Wienen and Betsy Geiser each driving in two runs with hits. Elise Schneider, the Prowlers number nine hitter, went three for three at the plate as Thief River Falls improved to 10-8 overall. Ellie McDermott , Grace Gonzales and Sophia Tougas each had two hits for the Prowlers. Paige Breitbach, Clara Kolden and Corbin Moran each had two hits for East Polk as the North Stars fall to 7-7 overall. Mikaleena Bernier picked up the win in the circle for Thief River Falls as she recorded 13 strikeouts and walked only two under windy conditions.
