Jakob Rudie went 3 for 4 at the plate and picked up the win on the mound as the Fosston Greyhounds defeated the Northern Freeze 6-4 at Thompson Field in Fosston. Rudie singled, doubled and hit a home run while striking out 11 Freeze batters. Jake Wickham, Mitchell Mulry, Parker Nelson, Darien Holzer and Keegan Hruby each had one hit for Fosston as the Greyhounds improve to 8-6. Eizen Olson went 3 for 4 at the plate for the Freeze as they fall to 10-7. Alex Bray struck out 8 Fosston batters but took the loss on the mound for the Freeze. The Freeze had played a game earlier in the day at Thompson Field against Win-E-Mac and lost 7-4.
