John Molina went 3 for 3 with 2 runs scored and Brody Rainsberry struck out ten to get the victory as Nelson County-Midkota defeated Hatton-Northwood 5-4 in the Region 2B baseball tournament Saturday at Mayville State University.

Aiden Johnson took the loss for Hatton-Northwood (7-9).  He allowed 10 hits, 5 runs (3 earned), a walk and 4 strikeouts.  Johnson also was 3 for 4 with 2 runs batted in for the Thunder.

Brendan Lenz had 2 rbi for Nelson County-Midkota.  The Chargers (7-9) will face Hillsboro/Central Valley in the Region 2B semifinals Monday at Mayville State.
