Hillsboro Stars and Stripes continue to grow

For the last 5+ years, Hillsboro, ND is painted red, white, and blue with hundreds of American flags on patriotic holidays. A fundraising project that started in the garage of Paul’s Hometown Repair has doubled in size and will continue to provide flags to the community as Memorial Day approaches. Project founder Paul Geray recalls how the project came to be.

From year one, to year 6 the number of flags bought by families and businesses in Hillsboro has grown from 365 to 715 helping donate towards various causes.
