West Central Regional Water District Expected to receive approximately $5 Million in state funding
It’s been a busy couple months for the West Central Regional Water District, as they have been hard at work trying to get the establishment of the district approved in the courts, while also pursuing funds for phase one of the project. West Central Regional Water District Chair Lucas Spaeth says they were able to achieve the first part of that goal, as a judge officially signed off on the formation of the district last month.
While not officially official, Spaeth says there’s also a lot of excitement as they’re expected to receive approximately $5 Million from the Minnesota Legislature to kick off phase one of their project.
As for phase one of their project, Spaeth says the hope is to break ground starting next year.
