Fargo Mayor Boschee Resigns ND Senate Seat
FARGO, MN—The Mayor of Fargo is giving up his seat on the North Dakota Senate. In a social media post, Fargo Mayor Tim Boschee resigned his North Dakota State Senate seat. That will take effect this afternoon. He says he’s resigning because Governor Kelly Armstrong has called a special session for September 2 to deal with the herb kratom. Boschee says it’s important that District 44 have a new senator appointed in time for that special session. Boschee was elected Mayor of Fargo in June. He was first elected to the North Dakota House in 2014 and was elected to the State Senate in 2024.
