Bagley at Ada-Borup-West

The storms avoided the Johnson Sports Complex in Ada, and the Bagley Flyers and Ada Borup West Cougars were able to get on the field and play an entertaining game that came down to a few mistakes and miscues that would eventually allow Bagley to earn the victory 22-20.

Bagley led 8-0 after scoring first with 7:27 to play in the first quarter, a William Gray to Hayden Hanse touchdown pass. The Cougars would tie the game, capping a 17 play drive on a Rene Zenteno touchdown run with 4:24 to play in the first half, then Rudy Reyes picked off a Bagley pass and set up a touchdown from Zenteno to take a 16-8 lead into halftime.  2 second half safeties for Ada-Borup-West would be their only scoring and Bagley would cap off 2 more scores, Micah Tramm on a 38 yard TD reception and a 9 yard run to seal the game.

Bagley is 1-0 and hosts Cass Lake Bena next week, while Ada Borup West is 0-1 and travels to Polk County West in East Grand Forks next week.
