New Superintendent at the Fosston School District 

The 2026/2027 School Year is fast approaching for the Fosston School District, and one major change heading into the year is the person leading district, as Derek Gieseke continues to settle into the superintendent position after being hired at the end of last school year. Gieseke tells R&J News that things are going great in his new role. 

Gieseke also shares more about himself, and his background in teaching. 

Gieseke entered the school district at an interesting time, as the school is gearing up for a referendum vote this fall, which he talks more about.
