Thompson vs Hillsboro/Central Valley

The Thompson Tommies amassed over 400 yards of offense as they moved to 2-0 on the season with a non-region victory over the Hillsboro/Central Valley Burros 33-22. Short passes turned into long gains for the Thompson offense as the receivers were able to elude tacklers and churn out yards after the catch for big gains. With the score tied 6-6 at halftime the Tommies explosive plays lead to a trio of third quarter touchdowns to go ahead 27-6. The Burros put together back to back touchdown drives in the fourth quarter to pull within a touchdown at 27-22 before the Tommie offense again marched down the field for another touchdown to finish the scoring at 33-22.

Thompson moves to 2-0 on the season and will travel to face Turtle Mountain Community next week while Hillsboro/Central Valley falls to 0-2 with a home matchup against Oakes next Friday.
